Wow. Here are some words I never thought I would type: today is U.S. publication day for my second novel, A MEMORY OF VIOLETS.
I actually can’t quite believe it is finally here, but it is, and I’m so excited to see the book released into the wild! From my naive little scribblings in notebooks back in 2010 (and earlier), she’s come a long, long way. Thank you again to all my amazing family, friends and readers for the endless support and encouragement in getting me here.
To celebrate this very special day, and to try and share a little of my excitement, I’m digging out my favourite ‘excited’ picture of all time, which some of you might remember from the publication of THE GIRL WHO CAME HOME (this isn’t me – but I love it so much and sort of wish it was!). I think this little lady will have to make an appearance for each book now!
There will be lots happening over the coming days and weeks and you can keep up to date with the official online blog tour for reviews, exclusive excerpts, interviews and a tour wide giveaway of three paperback editions of THE GIRL WHO CAME HOME. You can also Like and follow my Facebook page for more background to the book, competitions and general chatter. I am also on Twitter @HazelGaynor
Readers/listeners in the U.S. can also catch me on the following radio stations on February 4th:
8:00am EST (1:00 PM GMT) – WOCM-FM Ocean City (98.1FM) The Rude Awakening Show
10:00am EST (3:00 PM GMT) – KCMN-AM/FM (1530AM & 94.7FM) Colorado Springs, Tron Simpson
Lots more to come, but for now I have a date with a bottle of champagne …
Happy travels my little book. Be well loved, wherever you might land.
