I have been a little quiet recently, but for good reason. After the flurry of excitement and activity during the publication and launch of A Memory of Violets (and the added excitement of the RNA award win for The Girl Who Came Home) I am now back at the desk, deep in writing my next novel, which is due for publication in 2016. I have also written a 10,000 word novella as part of a collection of stories set around Armistice Day in WWI. My story, currently titled HUSH, is one of nine stories in the collection, which is also scheduled for publication by HarperCollins in 2016.
So, please forgive my lack of updates and posts while I knuckle down to the business of writing, editing and beautifying ‘Book Three’ (we have still to settle on the title – more news on that soon).
In the meantime, it is great to see THE GIRL WHO CAME HOME on offer as part of the Kindle Monthly Deal for May, and can be downloaded for just $1.99 until June 1st. I hope it finds it way into lots more readers’ hands.
I hope to emerge mid-June, when I will have more news about the new book. Until then, happy reading!
