There’s just something a bit special about the start of a new year. All those empty months stretching ahead. Nothing written in the new journal. Blank spaces on the calender. Everything to play for. I like it (the dark mornings – not so much).
And 2014 brings an extra dose of excitement for me because this is the year THE GIRL WHO CAME HOME comes back with a bang. When the publishing deal was confirmed back in June last year, April 2014 seemed soooooo far away. Now, I am looking at four little months until publication day and THAT is something to smile about.
Bringing the book back with it’s gorgeous new cover and wonderful interior and a few extras, and being published in the US and in the UK/Ireland, is a dream come true. It has also prompted me to get a new Facebook page and this brand new website (thanks to the brilliant Andrew at Design for Writers), which will be my online home from now on, along with the guest blogging and features which I will continue to write over at writing.ie
I hope you’ll sign up to continue to follow my blog updates and news here as I head towards April 1st for the US release and then on to April 24th for the UK/Ireland release. There’ll be lots happening between now and then and I cannot wait!
