I was so thrilled to see that THE GIRL WHO CAME HOME was included in a feature in the current edition of New York Magazine. The feature ‘The Title With the 91 Imitators’ is a round-up of book titles which start with ‘The Girl …’
According to the article, there have been ninety one books using ‘The Girl …’ in the title since Stieg Larsson’s 2009 bestsellers: ‘The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo’ and ‘The Girl Who Played With Fire’ and ‘The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest.’
I have to say that none of those titles entered my head when I first typed the words THE GIRL WHO CAME HOME on a blank computer screen in the spring of 2011, but it’s wonderful to not only see a mention of the book, but to also see that the gorgeous cover was selected as one of only five covers from all those books mentioned.
What a great way to kick off February and just two more months until my ‘girl’ hits the shelves!
